Moderate gold deposit discovered in Fujian |

| Zijin Mining Group Co. Ltd., one of China's largest gold miners, has discovered a medium-sized copper and gold deposit in Fujian Province, according to a domestic media report on Sept. 19. According to the Fujian Daily,RGB LED controller the Fujian Provincial Department of Land and Resources has made a record of an 80,000-ton copper and gold deposit in Fujian's Wuping county discovered by Zijin Mining through its further exploration of the Zijinshan mineral basin and its surrounding areas. The Fujian Provincial Department of Land and Resources is assessing the deposit and development plan as part of its evaluation before issuing a mining license to Zijin Mining. The deposit is estimated to contain 13.55 million tons of mineral ore resources, Square Ceiling Light with 81,200 tons of copper metal, 5.77 tons of gold, and 238 tons of silver. Representatives from Fujian-based Zijin Mining were unavailable for comment when reached by Interfax on Sept. 21. |
